RICK GERBER
Guitar, Piano, Voice, Bass, Mandolin, Ukulele, Songwriting
Rick Gerber is a seasoned performer, multi-instrumentalist, and singer-songwriter. Performing thousands of shows over 30 years professionally. Now, he is eager to share his craft with students and pass on the joy of music-making whether it's around a campfire or taking center stage at the Delta Center.
Rick started playing and writing music on guitar at a young age. As he grew, he studied other instruments like the mandolin, his first professional-level instrument. Soon he would branch out to other instruments, particularly the piano which would become a mainstay as he ventured to learn the entire Beatles catalog.
Most known for fronting the band Badfeather, among many others, he continues to play for many bands on the piano, harmonica, organ, guitar, mandolin, background and lead vocal. He has a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to become a true musician. With his exuberant welcoming personality, passion for education, and adaptability to any student’s needs, he now looks forward with true integrity to sharing his wealth of knowledge at Rocky Mtn Music Den, to its students and in additionally its faculty.
Ethan Summerhays
DRUMS, BEGINNER PIANO
Ethan Summerhays has been dedicated to his craft since 2017. Initially inspired by rock and roll, he is now experienced in improvisational funk, jazz, pop, and world music. With the help of 5 years of teaching experience, Ethan adapts to whatever the students' musical goals are with a positive and flexible attitude.
For Ethan, music is the greatest teacher. It’s for more than just artistic expression. It elevates life in terms of discipline, teamwork, overcoming challenges, and fulfillment. He is dedicated to helping every student become the best player they can be.

SCOTT SEIBERT
BEGINNER-ADVANCED PIANO, BEGINNER-INTERMEDIATE GUITAR
Scott Seibert is a multi-instrumentalist and composer, who started playing piano at the age of 5. He graduated from the University of Utah in 2020 with bachelors degrees in jazz piano performance and jazz composition. Since graduating, he has made a living teaching students of all ages/skill levels, and performing a wide range of music with various groups based in the Salt Lake area. His understanding and ability to play so many styles of music has left him to be a top call keyboardist and teacher for jazz, blues, pop, rock, R&B, country, neo soul, and other genres. As a teacher, his goal is to get students playing the music that they love, whatever the genre may be, and use that music to develop a deep musical understanding as well as technical proficiency on their instrument.
Aidan Triantafillou
BEGINNER-ADVANCED GUITAR
Aidan is a performing guitarist with over ten years of gigs under his belt. He believes that the key to learning guitar, or any instrument, is to practice patience and hone your ability to listen and visualize music. The fastest way to learn and improve is to embrace how different we all are and focus on how to think critically, listen, and build creative habits. The initial enjoyment someone gets from listening to music or playing an instrument is the most fundamental part of making it a lifelong love and Aidan aims to spark that.
KATE CHANSON
VOICE, BEGINNER GUITAR
Kate Chanson is a full time singer, songwriter and mother from Park City, Utah. She loves inspiring people to use their voice and believes music is very healing to everyone who experiences it. You may see her around Park City as a vintage jazz singer, professional princess, or country folk songstress!
She has 15 years of professional vocal training including two years with the Utah opera, two years with the University of Utah musical theater department, two years of jazz vocals with Wendy Jones, and 2 years of contemporary with renowned songwriter, Annie Wright.
She taught music and yoga to children for 5 years and loves to work with children and adults alike! She can teach you proper vocal technique, how to keep your voice healthy, how to perform, how to sing and play guitar together, and how to enjoy using the incredible instrument that is your voice.
MACK SMITH
VOICE, BEGINNER PIANO
Mack Smith is a passionate vocal and piano teacher with a background in musical theater and choral music. Currently she performs in a rock band and as a solo folk artist, she draws inspiration from a wide variety of music. Her main goals are to help students find and embrace their true voices, tap into creativity, and allow for self expression.
In addition to her love of music, she has a long history of working closely with children- as a teacher in summer programs and providing extended child care; giving her a nurturing approach to lessons with children.

CASEY MORGAN
STUDIO DIRECTOR
SPECIALIZING IN ADVANCED GUITAR, PIANO, BASS, DRUMS, UKULELE, BANJO, MANDOLIN, BLUES HARP, SAXOPHONE, VOCAL INSTRUCTION, MUSIC THEORY, SONGWRITING

Casey is an experienced music teacher, having taught guitar and piano right out of high school at age 17. Giving him nearly 20 years experience teaching private lessons full time.
He studied under collegiate and doctorate-level instructors at Utah Conservatory's "apprentice" program, where he quickly climbed the ranks to become a veteran faculty member. Casey became the most sought after member of guitar staff for 8 years before breaking away to start his own school.
With a specialized approach to each individual student and patient temperament, Casey is known for his high student retention rates. He now runs his own music school, teaching 10 different instruments as well as music theory, composition, and songwriting. In addition to teaching, Casey performs acoustic music by request at various Park City restaurants and events as a solo or duo act in any genre.
