Bret Meisenbach
DRUMS, GUITAR, BASS, UKULELE, BAND COACHING
Bret is a multi-instrumentalist who studied and performed music since early childhood. He has 20+ years experience teaching drums, guitar,
bass, and ukulele across multiple genres including rock, pop, jazz, folk, and classical. When it comes to teaching, Bret’s policy is to adapt to every student, and teach them in whatever way best fits their goals and abilities.
To Bret, music is more than a hobby, it's a way of life. He hopes to share the gift of music with as many people as possible, because to him, music is one of the primary contributors to his success,
self-discipline, happiness, and motivation. With this knowledge of knowing how much music can help people, he pushes through all obstacles, to make sure his students make it to the other side as a better student, musician, and person.

CATE RICHARDS
PIANO
​Inspired by the melodious tunes of her grandmother's piano, Cate embarked on a musical journey as a toddler and her passion for music led her to many years of formal lessons and beyond.
Having taught for 4 years, she has been imparting her musical wisdom to students of all ages and backgrounds. With a blend of classical training and contemporary flair, she tailors her lessons to ignite a lifelong love for music in her students.
Having had a deep love for the piano since my childhood, she is an experienced pianist and teacher dedicated to teaching students to LOVE expressing themselves musically while developing their skills through fundamentals and disciplined practice in ways that are FUN and meaningful.​

CASEY MORGAN
STUDIO DIRECTOR
SPECIALIZING IN ADVANCED GUITAR, PIANO, BASS, DRUMS, UKULELE, BANJO, MANDOLIN, BLUES HARP, SAXOPHONE, VOCAL INSTRUCTION, MUSIC THEORY, SONGWRITING
Casey is an experienced music teacher, having taught guitar and piano right out of high school at age 17. Giving him nearly 20 years experience teaching private lessons full time.
He studied under collegiate and doctorate-level instructors at Utah Conservatory's "apprentice" program, where he quickly climbed the ranks to become a veteran faculty member. Casey became the most sought after member of guitar staff for 8 years before breaking away to start his own school.
With a specialized approach to each individual student and patient temperament, Casey is known for his high student retention rates. He now runs his own music school, teaching 10 different instruments as well as music theory, composition, and songwriting. In addition to teaching, Casey performs acoustic music by request at various Park City restaurants and events as a solo or duo act in any genre.
RICK GERBER
Guitar, Piano, Voice, Bass, Mandolin, Ukulele, Songwriting
Rick Gerber is an extremely experienced performer, multi-instrumentalist, and singer-songwriter. He has performed thousands of shows throughout the country professionally over the course of the last 30 years.
Rick started playing and writing music on guitar at a very young age. As he grew, he began to branch out and play other instruments. Mandolin being his first professional level instrument, this is where he would begin his journey into touring. His fervent passion for music led him to branch out and start honing his expertise on many other instruments such as the piano and guitar, as he wanted to play whatever the song he was writing or performing required. Particularly the piano would become a mainstay, as he ventured to learn the entire Beatles catalogue.
As the years came and went, he had the pleasure of being the keyboard player and front man for the band Badfeather amongst many other acts he had formed along the way, and had been the sole songwriter and front-man for. He has played in a myriad of different touring groups on a multitude of instruments. He is an excellent performer known for his affinity for lively stage performance and his iconic voice. This affinity set him apart from other local artists making him a staple at nearly every venue in Utah. As such, he moved into this field as his main trade. His perseverance and expertise carried him to thousands of shows around the intermountain west and the country at large playing everything from cafes, to bars, to large festivals, often collaborating with other touring artists such as Blues Traveler, DJ Logic, Steve Mulitz, and Jeff Crosby to name a few.
He continues to play for many bands on the piano, harmonica, organ, guitar, mandolin, background and lead vocal. He has a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to become a true musician.
He is now passionate about sharing this craft with students and passing on the joy of music to students of all ages. Whether that is sitting around a campfire, strumming guitar, learning to write music, learning about performance and stage presence, playing lead, or learning how to improvise. Rick can do it all.
With his exuberant welcoming personality, passion for education, and adaptability to any student’s needs, he now looks forward with true integrity to sharing his wealth of knowledge at Rocky Mtn Music Den, to its students and in additionally its faculty.
